Life-saving tourniquets in American homes, vehicles, and schools
Hold My TQ is a public safety campaign asking families, schools, and communities to prepare for emergencies – one tourniquet at a time.

Can you Hold My Tourniquet (TQ)?
How You Can Take Action
Hold My TQ is about ordinary people taking simple steps that save lives. You choose how far you go.
Hold
You’re not a medic, but you’ll commit to buying a tourniquet from a trusted provider and keep it closeby – at home, in your car, or in your bag. You can’t help if you don’t have one nearby. Always be ready to offer this life-saving tool.
Train
Level up your ability by visiting StopTheBleed.org. Take the free course to learn how to use a tourniquet and other tools during a trauma emergency. We need more people to understand how they can perform these life-saving techniques.
Give
This is how the movement grows. Gift a tourniquet to someone you trust. Ask them to “Hold My TQ” and keep it nearby. This is how HoldMyTQ.org was started – a husband asked a squeemish spouse to just keep a TQ in her car – just in case.
Tell
Share the idea. Let’s grow this movement. Every person who holds, trains, gives, or tells makes our communities stronger and more prepared. Let’s make holding a TQ as common as holding your car keys.
